Facial Identification Display
Dash combines a specific camera & lens combination, powerful processor, custom software algorithms, touchscreen, and light panel with a biometric profile database. Dash is the best performing biometric camera Clear has developed for open spaces, based on years of previous kiosk experience. The bespoke lighting panel adjusts to the changing lighting conditions in different spaces at different times of the day - providing studio-like photos for fast, accurate identification as well as meeting the stringent security requirements of US Airports.

IOT Controller
Aesthetics set Rx1 apart from other products in its category, but are appropriate for the context; it is a device normally hidden in an electronic closet and only seen when servicing. It embodies brand building design features that will be reused for other products (infographics, vents and rounded form). Graphics clearly indicate what plug has issues for improved usability, and they save cost by allowing led groups. Cost is also saved by capturing led Pcb close to surface, eliminating light pipes. Internal atrium and vent cooling strategy is optimized for efficient convection when wall mounted

Mobile Police TabletPC
The Tetratab mobile tablet PC was designed to address a specific need: Allow the rich use of mobile data over the Tetra police and Emergency radio network in the UK and Europe. This is one of the first Tetra radio equipped tablet PCs. The industrial design had to be ergonomic, durable, and enclose all necessary components to allow Tetra radio access. Styling is organic, comfortable, and friendly, yet conveys a serious and capable device.

Biometric Camera
Argos was created as a low cost alternative to more expensive biometric solutions or staffed checkpoints. It's made for locations where laptops or alternate solutions won't work, such as secure offices, airports, and checkpoints. The product architecture houses a long zoom lens camera vertically and only move a light-weight mirror to give pan and tilt functionality. This allowed a compact size and fast movement – it can ID 10-12 people per minute at 3-8 feet. Styling was optimized for serious but minimal look, camouflaging high speed movements behind simple cylindrical form.

10MW Offshore Wind Turbine
Britannia is mega-scale wind turbine developed for offshore wind farms in the United Kingdom. It was planned to be the first to produce 10Mw of power using 4 rather than 1 generator. The exterior styling differentiates Clipper turbines from competitors and is designed to evoke company heritage and aspirations - in particular forms inspired by Clipper ships and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Placement of radiators for cooling the generators allowed the use of air scoops as stylistic elements. The crew space within the turbine is optimized for people to work and sleep inside during service.

Motorized Biometric ID Device
The EY2T is an automatically rotating biometric camera for face and iris recognition. It scans the field of view for faces, then using motors it rotates to aim directly at the eyes for best capture. With 9 front facing sensors and motion, a simple friendly design was needed. The cylindrical pill shape allowed rotation and a calm, non threatening form. The wide spread of LEDs and autofocus allow ID capture at 3 to 6 feet, eliminating manual aiming and allowing greater range. The versatility of mounting, either standalone or in the wall mount, give the product more potential uses for customers.

Biometric Capture TabletPC
Unity was created to identify people and capture biometric signatures when in remote areas, cut off from normal wireless communication. The device combines multiple biometric sensors & a 64bit PC in a rugged, compact design. It can capture dual irises, faces, & fingerprints from hands & surfaces, then work with the information as a stand-alone mobile device. Major challenges were creating a functional yet simplified external design for the complex device, packing so many parts in such a small form, and creating a way to cool the electronics without compromising the sealed case.

Biometric Access Device to Unlock Doors
A biometric device built into walls or kiosks that captures the iris & entire face, then references a database to determine user privileges. It grants access by unlocking doors or logging users in. User feedback features are built in for easy self alignment. Leds invisibly light the eye, and there is a flash for low light. The front has 2 plastic parts allowing duo-tone colors. The smaller part draws the eye with fine detail. The form simplifies 13 front facing components into a more aesthetic product. It is for corporate, industrial, and home markets.
